InerziaTimer |
Simple application written in Applescript Studio with a double function: chronometer and countdown timer.
With the first function, it is also possible to save partial times in a text file, ready to be edited in TextEdit or with another text editor.
The second function is a simple countdown device, playing an alarm sound when the time is ended, together with the possibility to say a sentence of choice.
This is not a true chronometer, but it can be as precise as half of a second, with a maximum interval of many hours. The long range precision is related to the Mac internal clock.
The starting point was an Apple tutorial and it was improved to have a complete application. Now it sports lap times recording, color preferences, different alarm sounds, possibility to say a sentence at the end of the countdown. Translated in two languages.
Please read the instructions accompanying the application. A complete Help system is available form inside the application.
This is InerziaTimer doing a chronometer work, with some lap times recorded, ready for a file save...
